If you think that what other people is already doing are the end of what can be done, you are wrong. There is much more you can do about this problem. The most important thing I think we should do is to not buy any rugs from countries that allow children to be slaves. That will have a drastically effect, and they would have to stop the slavery and find a different way of making goods without using children. Also, how about making a petition, like collecting signatures and send it to political readers, local, regional, national, and international. We can set a petition by going to thepetitionsite.com; you only need to have sponsors information, target information, petition headline and description, petition letter, signature goal and a deadline. I think that’s a great idea. Just like the University of Hull is trying to do something similar, you can also do it. Get a donation. That’s an easy way of helping. For example, look at this website and see how they get donations and try to help those kids to get an education. CBS news is an example of trying to make this world a better world, because they try to help, they give voice to those that don’t have one. If we join we can help them, too. There are more websites where you can find more information on how to help like the following: Images of Child Labor and Child Labour and society, each will help you figure out who is responsible for it, and who we can really blame. Also the website Stop Child Slavery is asking for your help and giving more options on how to help like linking, shopping wisely, and educating yourself & others. Look at the following videos about child slavery and see how important and sad it is.

Free a Child from Slavery and make a differenceThere are many people trying to make a change about child slavery. Like the ones making blogs and involving the Internet to get messages to people about why it is a problem. You can also read Jenelle’s blog who has a plan to end child slavery. Make a note, that today there are more slaves in the world than at any other time in history; look at nationalgeographic.com and About Ahava Kids. It is very impressive. For this same reason Ahava Kids want to make a change. They exists to rescue and care for young victims child trafficking, enslavement and exploitation in the U.S. and throughout the world. Ahava Kids has assigned in saving over 3,000 young people around the world since 2003. Their process is the process of rescue, relocation and Rehabilitation. They remove young people from the various dangers of trafficking and slavery, while giving them the best chance at survival and a decent life. Read their website; it’s interesting and helpful. They are definitely making a difference. It’s better to make little by little difference then no difference at all. Imagine if we would all do a little something to stop child slavery. Now it wouldn’t exist. There are also ministries trying to help, like Every Child Ministries, they are a Christian mission devoted to the needs of African children, since 1985 they have been working with African churches to assure that their new generations are going to live a better life. They are rescuing abused and neglected children from desperate and dangerous situation. EMC child rescue has a special concern for street children, slave children, orphans, homeless and abandoned children, children of war and in poverty. It would be amazing if every kid could thank us for being free. Also, look at this video, and see the kids are being slaves and even though it’s something amazing to believe, it’s still out there and it’s after thousands of young innocent kids.

Did you know that not only slaves are affected? We are all affected, in the U.S., Canada, Africa, India, and many other places. Just by looking at their faces now in the 21st century is unbelievable to see the sadness in their faces. The ones being slaves are affected, because slavery is something that has being going on for decades, and generation to generation. But, who gets the goods that they are being forced to produce? It’s us. We are the ones who take on the goods and they are the ones who work for it without getting any goods or money themselves. You can see now, that even kids are fighting against child slavery, like Iqbal Masihand Craig Kielburger. We should care, because child slaves are the ones who are making what we use the most like shoes, clothes, foods, etc. Also slaves are affected because for being slaves they have no way of getting an education, and being slaves is the only thing they can do in order to survive. Look at this blog, and see why is important and how we can get involved in stopping it, so we can help it to end faster. Also read about what people think a child is really worth.

A kid wo is suppost to go to school is force to work instead.

No child that's foced to be a slave is ever going to be happy!

Child Slavery, ”a social-economic system under which certain persons or slaves that are deprived of personal freedom and compelled to perform”. You can also see for yourself this definition and many more at wikipedia. Also it means that if there’s so many kids being slaves right now here and all around the world, there will be fewer educated people in the future and this is going to keep going on from generation to generation, sense nobody is caring enough to try to do something to stop it. Just by looking at this map you can tell there is really a problem with child labour. You can also tell there is more and more people thinking that this is a problem. You can check more blogs of other people such as this blog of Human Slavery. Have you ever asked yourself, why is slavery still going on now days? I ask myself this question as I know many of you ask yourself as well, “If slavery has been going on since before recording history, like you can see for yourself in WikiAnswers.com, isn’t time for it to stop?” I myself believe so. Also here in Slave maps you can see that slaves are all over the world not just in Africa & India like many think.
